My hope is to leave this earth, in my eighties, still serving in Living Waters, and while patiently waiting to receive a word in Listening Prayer, being taken home to Glory. This is how much I love being part of DSM and Living Waters groups!

I came to faith in Christ in 2002 at Abundant Grace Community Church in Edinburg, Texas. I had been living a compromised life for several years.

Yet the Lord planted me in a Bible-based Holy Spirit filled community where I was able to experience the love of Jesus and the conviction of my sins.

I was living a gay identified life as well as living like a women when the Lord encountered me in a profound way and brought me out of darkness. I surrendered my life to the Merciful One. I was raised up in the Lord and began to grow in the things of God.

But I knew that there were more areas in my life that needed the Lord. I was led to Kansas City in 2007, where I attended Bible School, CrossCurrent Program, and Living Waters Program. I was able to join the Living Waters Team and serve under the direction of Tracey Bickle for 7 years. I was empowered to fight for my life and for the lives of others in prayer.  I also learned to live my life in a healing community centered in Christ.

In 2014, I decided to go through the U.S. Leadership Training so I could become an Intern for Desert Stream Ministries. I wanted to grow in the area of servant leadership and I knew serving in the office would be a great opportunity to serve DSM.

Currently, I help coordinate our Living Waters offerings in the Spanish speaking world (Aguas Vivas). I also assist in the preparation for the U.S. Living Waters Trainings, and manage the Resources at DSM. I attend Christ Church Mission in Mission, KS and help to lead a Living Waters group with Annette Comiskey.

I enjoy dance, poetry, getting to know people, going to museums, the theater, and traveling via Amtrak train. Also, I enjoy watching March Madness and cheering for Notre Dame.
